Congrats on snapping up a Sibling mini session!

This handy dandy session guide will tell you everything you need to know about how to best prepare for your session, ensuring that your little ones have a great time.

If you haven’t already, please also read through the information for clarification on what’s included in with your session.

My studio is located in the top right unit of 162 Kendal Avenue, Burnside. There should be parking on the street outside and a photo of newborn triplets on our door – no need to knock, just come on in up the stairs!

Please arrive at your session start time - not before - as these sessions run back-to-back and there is no waiting area. You can text me on 021 277 1987 if you are running late.

Please don’t park in the carpark out the back of the building, there should be parking somewhere on the street outside.

If your kids are sick on the day of your photoshoot, please let us know asap. We have a backup day scheduled for Wednesday 25th of August for any sessions that need to be postponed. If you cannot make this backup day we will send through a full refund.

If you show up with kids who are very clearly sick without telling us, you will be asked to leave. Then if you cannot make the backup day you will be given a 50% refund.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Scroll down further for more information on styling based on whichever backdrop you are booked for.

  • Your session will run for up to 15 minutes and I cannot go over this timeframe as the sessions are scheduled back to back.

  • Please do not come in any earlier than your session start time.

  • If you have a baby, ideally get them to have a nap before their session so that we can get them in the best possible mood. Though don’t worry if you can’t get them down – just continue to have a quiet, relaxing day and it won’t be the end of the world.

  • Please remove your shoes at the top of the stairs.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

AFTER THE SESSION

  • We will send your 2 fully edited digital images for you to download via email between 1-3 weeks after your session. These 2 images will be chosen by us.

  • If you want the option to view and purchase more than two images ($50 each), you will need to let us know either before or during your session at the latest. We will send through an unedited gallery of the best photos we take and you will be able to choose how many extra you would like for us to edit.

STYLING

  • Please bring your kids along photo-ready.

  • Try to choose clothes with no logos or loud patterns.

  • While they don’t have to be perfectly matching, you ideally want them to be in a similar style (eg. both in woolens, florals, plain or lace details) and/or complimentary colour tones (eg. both in earthy tones, jewel tones or candy colours)

  • Take into consideration which colour backdrop you have chosen, and try to choose tones that suit for best results.

  • No need to stress about shoes. We love bare feet.

STONE WHITE
9TH AUGUST

A beautiful cool-toned backdrop that suits more modern homes and clothing. Candy pinks, blues, purples, greens really pop on this, along with cool whites and greys.

RICH BROWN
10TH AUGUST

Perfect for capturing cozy, snuggly sibling shots. This backdrop best suits warm creams, autumnal tones (gold, rust etc.) or dark jewel colours (Ruby, Emerald, Navy etc.)

CLASSIC CREAM
16-17TH AUGUST

This warm-toned cream is our signature colour, and is completely timeless. Warm whites, dusty tones and pastel colours all suit this backdrop beautifully.
