GEORGE’S TOY EMPORIUM
2024
George's Toy Emporium, was where George (my son) hoped all the kids' fantasies of being a vintage shop assistant from the 1920s come true. Because they all have this dream, right? Or is it just my kid?
He wanted me to bring back to life an old set from years ago. He had one request though... more toys! So more toys were brought from all the vintage shops far and wide, so many toys in fact, George thought it may as well be a shop, and so alas 'George's Toy Emporium' was born.

NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS
2023
This year, children stepped into a frosty fireplace scene- cosy and glowing, ready for Santa’s visit. They curled up, shared stories, and even read a book beneath the magic. It was one of my most ambitious builds yet, featuring a real working fireplace and a window with swirling snow falling outside.

GINGERBREAD KITCHEN
2022
This year is the memory of gingerbread houses, gingerbread baking in the oven, and its warm comforting aroma.
The kids got to step into our vintage-inspired gingerbread kitchen, put on a little apron, roll and squish out gingerbread dough and leave smelling like cinnamon, covered in a sprinkling of flour and a gingerbread cookie in hand. Yum!

WAITING FOR SANTA
2021
Inspired by my own childhood memories of sneaking out of bed on Christmas eve, and waiting up as late as I could, in the hopes of getting a glimpse of the man himself. But for some reason, Santa only visited once I was sound asleep...
This year, we wanted to really bring that feeling of childhood wonder to life with a fully immersive set that transports you to another world. The kids got to experience this magic as they gaze out the window to see a moving train, making it's way home through the snowy night outside.

A VINTAGE CHRISTMAS
2020
After starting a collection of all my favourite childhood pieces, we created a little hut where Santa and his little elves are inviting the kids back in time to his little hut, where Santa has kept some of his favorite toys from years ago to share with you all.
