Congrats on snapping up an exclusive 2020 Motherhood sessions!

This handy dandy session guide will tell you everything you need to know about how to best prepare for your session, ensuring that both you and your little one/s have a great time. If you haven’t already, please also read through the information for clarification on what’s included in with your session.

My studio is located in the top right unit of 162 Kendal Avenue, Burnside. Please do not come up before your session time. You can text me on 021 277 1987 if you arrive early, and I’ll reply if we are already finished with our previous session and you are able to come up.

There is a small carpark out the back of the building. Feel free to park there on Sunday, but do not park out the back on Monday – there should be some space on the street outside.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Before the session, have a think about what backdrop you would prefer out of the three options pictured: The signature cream canvas, the rich brown canvas, or the dreamy backlit curtains.

  • We have a few simple tops and dresses available for you to wear, but as we are still growing this section of our wardrobe we recommended that you still come along photo-ready.

  • We do however have a large selection of beautiful dresses for girls (up to 10 years old), shorts/tops for boys (up to 6 years old) and some knitted baby rompers. Though you are of course welcome to bring your little ones along in their own outfit if you’d prefer.

  • Your session will run for up to 30 minutes, and I cannot go over this as the sessions are scheduled back to back.

  • Please remove your shoes at the top of the stairs.

  • Ideally get your little one to have a nap before their session so that we can get them in the best possible mood. Though don’t worry if you can’t get them down – just continue to have a quiet, relaxing day and it won’t be the end of the world.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

AFTER THE SESSION

  • Your personalised viewing session will be scheduled on Sunday 26th or Monday 27th. We will automatically schedule your for the same day/time as your photoshoot, but this can be changed later if you need.

  • You are also able to skip the viewing session if you are 100% sure of how many photos you want, and are happy to forfeit the option to choose which one we edit and send.

  • At this session you will be able to choose your collection of portraits from a selection of 10 unedited images. The base package includes 5 images, and extras can be added on individually ($50 each) or as a 10-image bundle (extra $300)

  • After the viewing, we will fully edit your chosen images, then send them to you for download via email.

FRAMED ART

From the careful design and printing, to the custom build, this whole process is handled in-house by me and my husband/framer, Mike.

We have a hand-picked selection of the worlds most beautiful designs, which you can view online here and in the studio. To finish, our frames with TruVue’s patented UltraVue; an archival, UV protected, museum grade glass designed to protect your fine art print for generations to come.

Included in your session are two fine art matted prints, which can be upgraded to 8x10” boutique frames for $80 each. Included in the 10-image bundle is also a 14x14” frame, customised with your choice of a square, circle or 4-image print display.
