Thank you so much for choosing me to photograph you with your baby bump. Pregnancy is so endlessly amazing to me and I feel truly honoured to capture yours with a series of timeless portraits.

This session guide will tell your everything you need to know about how to best prepare for your session. If you haven’t already, please also read through the Maternity information for clarification on what’s included in with your session.

STUDIO ADDRESS:

626 Springs Road, Prebbelton (Entrance off Trents Road).
Plenty of parking on the property for everyone. The entrance to the studio is on the front left of the building.

We highly recommend coming via Springs Road as Shands Road is partially closed due to roadworks right now.

What to expect

• Your session will run for about 1 hour

• You will have the choice between our stone white, signature cream and/or rich brown backdrop. We usually do 2-3 each sessions. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to see full gallery examples.

• We will also show you a selection of dresses to choose from. We usually do 2 dresses per session.

• From here we will aim capture six distinct images, usually including one full body dress shot plus a couple close ups in semi-nude then nude. This can of course be changed to suit you.

• Bring a nude bra (matching your skin colour) if you have one, and another in a different style/colour if you think would be useful, depending on which dresses and backdrop you like. Also wear nude undies so we can’t see them under the dresses.

• Also feel free to bring along any items of clothing you may like in any of the photos, such as a lacy underwear set that you like, or a loose-fitting sweater, robe (or even your partners shirt) if you want a playful/cutesy semi-nude.

• A week or two after your session, you’ll receive your fully edited digital gallery via email.

PRINTS & FRAMES

Our packages include your high resolution digital files. From here you are welcome to print and share as you please. You are more than welcome to print anywhere you like. But If you are wanting something that will last a lifetime and is printed and framed by myself with museum quality materials, check out our online shop.

We have a hand-picked selection of the worlds most beautiful designs, which you can view online here and in the studio during when you come in.

Gallery examples

Below are come examples of how a final 6-image gallery can look. Have a think about what backdrops you would like to use, if you would like semi nude and/or nude photos, and of course which dress or dresses. All those pictured below are available to use at the studio.

There are also some before/after examples - if you are also booked in for a newborn session and want to do one of these, just let us know what your favourite maternity shot was and we will recreate it with your newborn.
