Congratulations on snapping up one of my exclusive Bubble Mini session!

This handy dandy session guide will tell your everything you need to know about how to best prepare for your session, ensuring that both you and your baby have a great time.

My studio is located in the top right unit of 162 Kendal Avenue, Burnside. There should be parking on the street outside and a sign on our door – no need to knock, just come on up!

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Your session will run for around 10 minutes and is scheduled back-to-back with others.

  • Make sure that you arrive 5-10 minutes before your session time to get your baby dressed (or undressed!) and ready to go.

  • I provide a selection of dresses and rompers, but if there is anything special you would like them to wear, simply bring them along dressed in that outfit.

  • This selection is very limited for boys over 16 months, so bring them along in suitable shorts and a nice top (or simply topless). Stick to lighter, natural tones and textures.

  • Someone will greet you on arrival and give you a number, which you’ll need to bring to me in the shooting area when you’re called over.

  • During the session you can leave any extra clothes, nappy bags etc. in the dressing area.

  • If your little one is confident with strangers, I find it is best if you stand back a bit. This way I can keep their full attention on me and the bubbles. Please refrain from taking any photos and videos during the session as they can become distracted.

  • An assistant or I will get your little one into position, then shower them in bubbles.

  • Ideally make sure that they have interacted with bubbles beforehand so that they are comfortable with and excited for the session. You can also show them our instagram ‘highlight’ video of the bubble sessions.

  • Try to time their nap before the session so that we can get them in the best possible mood, and bring along some non-messy snacks if you think they may need it.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

AFTER THE SESSION

  • A week or two after your session, you’ll receive your digital image/s via email.

  • Make sure to tag us @hazelandcass on instagram so that we can see what you think!

  • Prints and frames were not offered for these minis as I’ve just had a shoulder injury and so I am limiting any orders for the next month. However, if you decide that you’d just love to order a frame ($120), you can let us know via email as long as you are ok with a longer wait time of 4+ weeks.
